What is a Multi-Zone Mini Split
A mini-split (or air conditioner unit) is a compact, self-contained heating and cooling system that uses inverter technology to regulate temperature by modulating airflow and refrigerant flow. A mini-split consists of an indoor unit mounted on the wall or floor, an outdoor unit attached to the exterior, and a network of ducts that distribute conditioned air throughout the building. In contrast, a singular mini-splits system refers specifically to a single indoor unit installed in a single location within a building, without a separate outdoor unit. While both types of systems serve similar purposes, a singular mini-split typically provides more flexibility in terms of installation and expansion, as well as potential upgrades or retrofits, compared to the traditional mini-split architecture.
